Barbara Hanish is the Executive Assistant and Office Manager of Aledo Consulting, Inc. She has had broad experience in various facets of healthcare for 20 years, as a technician, researcher and administrator. Barbara worked for several years in the clinical setting as a nuclear medicine technologist before transitioning to osteoporosis research at Indiana University School of Medicine. She was Executive Assistant and Office Manager for Pharmaceutical Corporation of America, a contract repackaging company that specialized in unit-of-use pharmaceuticals for hospitals and clinics. In addition to her administrative role managing a $10 million per year enterprise, she was the primary coordinator of a National Institutes of Health (NIH) research study, the African American Study of Kidney Disease and Hypertension (AASK). Returning to the care delivery setting, Barbara worked as practice manager of a large single specialty physician practice. There her responsibilities included the efficient delivery of health care, billing and accounting policies and procedures of the practice, third party reimbursement issues, HIPAA, and team building among the practice staff. Barbara is a cum laude graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a BS in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
