Theodore Kieffer, MD, MS, is a Senior Healthcare Consultant to Aledo Consulting where he assists clients with strategy, marketing, and reimbursement issues on diagnostics, therapeutics and health information technology (IT) products and services. Prior to Aledo Consulting, Dr. Kieffer completed his residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at Indiana University School of Medicine and received a Masters in Biology from Purdue University. Additionally, he has completed two fellowships, one in blood banking/transfusion medicine with the Indiana Blood Center and Indiana University School of Medicine and one in clinical microbiology with the Indiana University School of Medicine. He is Board Certified in Clinical Pathology and in Blood Bank/Transfusion Medicine. During his residency and fellowship, he co-authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and has presented several abstracts at regional, national, and international conferences. During his microbiology fellowship, Dr. Kieffer worked on clinical trials to bring medical devices to market. He has a strong interest in health IT and has served as a physician consultant for a number of health IT companies. Dr. Kieffer graduated from Wabash College with a major in Chemistry.
